There comes a time in the life of every graduate student when she or he realizes that another two years of graduate school cannot be endured.
There also, surely, comes a time in the life of every graduate student when she or he searches the web for the real scoop on how to write a Ph.D. Dissertation. This article seems to tell it like it really is, instead of the massively-exaggerated way we prospective doctorates see it.
UPDATE (August 30, 2010): It’s two years later. I’m still not done. Rereading the article linked above is still amusing and inspiring, though.
