  • Mindmaps and mind mapping

    I’ve recently realized the power of Mind Maps, (What’s a mindmap? and How to Get Started Immediately) and I have been using them for many different things. I suspect I’ll be using them a lot in the future, too, because they’re just so POWERFUL! I really encourage others to try it, because I believe that mind-mapping is really helpful in organizing and presenting just about anything.

    I do most of my mindmapping on paper, despite a wealth of digital tools available to do it, simply because it’s fun! I like the creative aspect of drawing right on a page, and I find my brainstorming sometimes benefits from the idle doodling while I ponder what ideas to link up next. I do also like some of the online tools, and have become particularly drawn to Mindomo for more detailed, information-laden mind maps, such as the ones I use for studying.
